This year’s gamescom will be the venue for an official GWENT: The Witcher Card Game tournament and we’ve got a ticket with your name on it — if you’ve got the skills to claim it. Sign up and rank up to claim 1 of the first 7 slots in the tournament, or qualify to fight for the final spot as the tournament’s Wild Card. Whichever path you end up going, once you’re in, you’ll be facing some of the best GWENT players out there.
There are two paths you can take to qualify for the tournament.
7 of 8 spots in the tournament are dedicated to the top ranked players among those who signed up to participate in the tournament, as determined by the state of the rankings on August 1st, 4PM CEST. If you think your ranking could use a bit of work to secure a spot, now’s the time to put in the effort.
The final spot in the tournament is reserved for the winner of the Wild Card Qualifiers, which will be held on August 24th at gamescom. Battling it out will be 8 players who signed up to participate in the tournament and were ranked near the Ranked Play top 7 on August 1st, 4PM CEST.
There is no tournament entry fee. However, if you qualify and will decide to participate in the
on-site Wild Card Qualifiers, you will need to cover gamescom 2017 ticket, travel, and accommodation expenses on your own.
